Voice workshop
In this workshop, we shall explore our body, as it is the actual instrument to sing (and really not the throat! :-)). So, we'll explore how we can develop our voice thanks to relaxation, how our body is implied in our singing. We'll explore different types of sounds, and different types of music. We'll work together with several voices, to develop our ear, our confidence as well, and to enable everyone to share a common instrument while being in a group. We'll find how our body and soul takes most pleasure in singing, what is everyone's way to find his or her own voice and soul, and I hope this will lead to pure moments of vibration!
The workshop leader
Anne-Laure Jain, Kosovo/France
My name is Anne-Laure, I've been a singer for a few years now. I started playing the piano at the age of 8, but turned to classical singing and drama after my English studies. Now I sing Renaissance and Baroque music, as well as classical. I also give gospel and rock music concerts. I also recorded a New Age music album. At the Ecole de Jacques Lecoq in Paris I studied physical and movement theatre from 2005 to 2007 and started to create a musical clown show. I come from Kosovo and have Albanian roots, but live in Paris and am happy to be your 'chef d'atelier' in this workshop.
